Description
Handmade bag woven with Junco, a plant fiber that grows in the wetlands located south and north of Lima. The different colors are achieved naturally, by boiling the reed and adding the color that the weaver is looking for for their design.
The technique of weaving with plant fibers is a practice carried out in Peru since pre-Hispanic times. This is attested to by the countless objects made with this material found in the main archaeological zones of the Peruvian coast.
From harvesting to fabrication, the environment is always respected.
