Awajún-Wampis Artisans
The Awajún-Wampis artisans are part of one of the oldest indigenous communities in Peru that live in different departments of the jungle. They work on the arts of bio-jewelry, ceramics and basket weaving, among others.
Behind each of Selvatica's pieces, there is a network with more than 100 entrepreneurial artisans who organize themselves to collect and dry the seeds in the sun, dye them with natural dyes that they themselves produce and work them so that they can later be used in these original designs.
